Under the direction of Fixed Income Capital Markets co-heads S.J. Guzzo (sales and strategies) and Peter Harrison (trading operations), the division has been selectively adding to its sales and trading teams and refining the services offered to its mid-market institutional clients since acquiring Banc of Manhattan Capital’s mortgage-trading operation in 2014.

The eleven newly-hired professionals have an average of 21 years of industry experience. Crabtree, Fisher, Houlihan, Messer and Tait were most recently associated with Oppenheimer. Davis comes to Wunderlich from Russell Investments; Doolittle from Auriga Securities; Doyle from 12th Street Capital; Gross from Merrill Lynch; and, Ipsen and Ray from Bank of Oklahoma.

Guzzo noted that continued growth of the institutional fixed income sales team through key hires will be a focus in the new year. The division currently employs 57 professionals in sales, trading, strategies and support services.
